It's been over a month since Devlin Miski came out publicly, and no other professional athlete has followed suit. Dev just wants to put it all behind him and play football, helping his Chevali Firebirds win their first-ever division title. If only his teammates--and everyone else--could just let it go, he'd be fine. But there's one teammate in particular who seems determined to make his life difficult...

And for his boyfriend Lee, the past is never laid to rest. If it isn't his parents' troubled marriage, it's an old friend pulling him back into gay rights activism. Lee could make a splash by getting Dev to promote gay rights, but he knows it would distract Dev from football. So he has to balance the pressures of the outside world against the needs of his relationship, and even for a clever fox, that's a tall order.

In this third volume of Dev and Lee's story, the tiger and fox continue to explore their relationship. Personalities clash and dreams are on the line as Dev and Lee navigate their very public lives and try to stay true to themselves.

Divisions Out of Position Book 3 edition by Kyell Gold Blotch Literature Fiction eBooks

One of the critical reviews of this book says that Dev and Lee’s story is over and we should move on. There is some truth to this.

The first story “Out of Position”, with Dev hiding his sexuality from everyone, was exciting and absolutely adorable. “Isolation Play” has many characters that create conflict. Now that not only are both characters out, but most everyone is accepting of their relationship, there is less excitement.

However, the author does a great job of introducing new characters and plot elements to keep the story interesting. And there is one key character not accepting of Dev and Lee that leads to a big climax, quite possibly the best in the series.
All the while, there are some interesting football games to be played. The author proves that there is still more to be told in this story, and this book has plenty of emotion to keep you engrossed.

While not quite at the level of the first book, “Divisions” still offers plenty for the readers to sink their teeth into. I recommend that you continue the journey.

Divisions Out of Position Book 3 edition by Kyell Gold Blotch Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

After the ending of OoP2 i was wondering - how he is supposed to stay us tuned? And oh well, Kyell Gold found the way. We have a very promising and intriguing beginning, with watery and insignificant middle/ending parts, so the book seems incomplete for me. There was an article that this book being reworked because originally it was much bigger, so maybe thats the problem? Its time to find out and read the 4th book )
Good quality, good book
I've been following the series since I first discovered kyell gold. This book, in my opinion, takes the series to a whole new personal level. Dealing with issues that a Coupple would face, not just professional footballers. Fights, undertones and secrets. It's a great read, and I find it impossible to put down once I've started, even after I've already read it. If you've read any of the books you'd know as well as I do that you are going to read it anyway. No matter what I say. It's brilliant, but if you are just coming into the series, start at the start. Because it's beautiful.
I don't know exactly what it is, but the story rings as if it were a personal recount, rather than fantasy. Kyle is great at spinning a good tale. (Tail...?) thanks for the nice read.
I must say I was at first skeptical of the 'Dev and Lee' series but as soon as I got 3 chapters into the first book I was hooked instantly buying the kindle version of the second novel 'Isolation play' back in 2012.
After reading the second I feel somewhat unsatisfied that I had so many questions unanswered so I went looking and soon found this book and when it was going to be released.
I looked at Sofawolf press as soon as I saw it was released and was disgusted at the $40 shipping fee, that was when I saw it was only $16.95 with a small $9 shipping fee, although the wait was a drain it was worth it.
The story still has that charm that can make you giddish for days dragging you in on an emotional level helping you feel exactly how each character feels.

You will Laugh, Cry, do some unspeakable things and even Yell at times at how each character is reacting causing this book to be impossible to put down.
This book sent more chills down my spine than 50 Shades of Grey ever did.

I can't wait for Kyell's next installment in the Dev and Lee series to be released to see what adventures await our two boys next
It's absolutely a good read if you've read the first two. Parts of it are quite slow and boring because they don't feel pertinent to the plot. Other parts of it are meant to be enjoyable, but are not (namely the football sequences, but if that's your thing, there's no problem here). I'd recommend it if you fit into the niche. The dull bits are the minority.
I'm a big fan of the OoP series, and this one wasn't different. While it didn't rivet me as thoroughly as the first book did, it was still a good book overall and I'm definitely attracted to the character development that comes along with most of Kyell's writing. I'm a little disappointed, however, by the fact that I can't do the Audible audio upgrade for this book; it's available on all of the others for a discounted price since I have the versions, but for some reason my only options for Divisions are to buy the audio full price ($21) or to sign up for the Audible free trial (which I don't want to do because I know I'll forget to cancel). Can that be fixed so that the upgrade is available?
